Venue

InnoLAE 2024 will be held at the Cripps Court Conference Centre, Magdalene College, Cambridge, UK. Cripps Court is an award-winning conference centre situated at Magdalene (pronounced ‘maudlin’) College, Cambridge University. Magdalene College is ideally situated close to the historic centre of Cambridge on the banks of the River Cam. Cripps Court is the college’s newest development, where two Victorian villas are combined with significant modern buildings to form the conference centre.

DIRECTIONS

By CAR

There is no parking at Cripps Court. However, there is a public car park nearby:
Castle Hill pay and display, a 5 minute walk - https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/castle-hill-car-park

We can also recommend the Park and Ride services. Madingley Park and Ride stops on Magdalene Street, a 7 minute walk to Cripps Court - https://cambridgeparkandride.info/madingleyroad.shtml

From the South or West

  • Leave the M11 at junction 13. Turn right onto the A1303 into Cambridge (Madingley Road). At the end of this road, you will come to a mini roundabout. Turn left (lane marked straight on) onto Northampton St. Continue straight across the cross roads and Cripps Court is approximately 300 meters on the left hand side of the road.

From the North West

  • From the A14 take the first exit signposted to Cambridge (A1037) continue along Huntingdon Road until you reach the junction with Histon Road, Victoria Road and Castle Street. Continue straight on down the hill and turn left at the traffic lights at the crossed roads, continue straight on for approximately 300 meters, Cripps Court on the left hand side of the road.

From the East

  • From the A14 take exit 32 signposted to Cambridge/Histon, take the first left onto the B1049 signposted to Cambridge. At a set of traffic lights go straight on, you will reach a second set of traffic lights continue straight until you reach a junction, there are two lanes to go right, you need to be in the left of these, at the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Castle Street. Continue straight on down the hill and turn left at the traffic lights at the crossed roads, continue straight on for approximately 300 meters, Cripps Court on the left hand side of the road.

From the North

  • From the A10, follow the signs to Cambridge, when you reach Milton take the third exit signposted to Cambridge (A1309) continue straight through several sets of traffic lights when you reach a roundabout go straight over, you will reach another set of traffic lights, continue straight until you reach the one way system, you should be in the righthand lane, take the third exit onto Chesterton Road (the river Cam should be to your left) follow this road until you reach you a traffic island in the middle of the road, Cripps Court is on the right hand side

BY TRAIN

  • Regular train services run to Cambridge from London Kings Cross Station, London Liverpool Street Station and the London airports to Cambridge Station.

    Magdalene is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) from the station. Walking would take around 30 minutes, buses run regularly and taxis are available.

  • The closest airport is London Stansted Airport, approximately 31 miles (50km)

  • Taxis from the airport take approx. 20 minutes
