Poster Guidelines

Poster Size

Your poster must be one Portrait (vertical) format A0 sheet, printed on only one side. Please ensure that your poster is sized correctly: 841mm wide x 1189mm tall - make sure it does not exceed this size. We recommend that you leave a margin of at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) around the poster.

An example poster board display, it may not be laid out like this at all venues, please carefully read the above information for confirmation.

Please note: Posters that are in landscape format, too large, or on more than one A0 sheet cannot be displayed on the boards.

When preparing your poster, consider how much of your display will be visible at eye-level.

You will need to print your own poster and bring it to the event to be displayed.

Poster Panel Allocation

Each panel will be numbered and there will be a sheet with poster names and allocated numbers at the conference registration desk. Find your poster number, then find the corresponding panel to fix your poster to.

Fixing

Posters will be affixed by push pins or velcro tabs, which will be provided by the event organisers.

Remote Posters

If you are unable to travel to our event in Cambridge, you can still submit a poster:

You will need to send a printed version of your poster to our office by 15th February 2024. Any posters received after that day may not be included in the display. Please contact us before arranging delivery so we can confirm the details.

You can also record a short 5 min video explaining your poster, covering any questions you think would be asked by attendees. You will need to provide us with a link to view your recording, which we will share with the conference attendees.

For those who cannot attend live but want to display a printed poster, please contact us to confirm the delivery location details.

Poster Prize

Please ensure that you stand by your poster(s) during break times (e.g. tea and coffee breaks) and during the Poster Reception so you are available for discussion or questions. Posters will be evaluated by the Programme Committee and the best posters will be awarded prizes at the Poster Reception.
